The line between word processing and desktop publishing
is beginning to blur. The ability to quickly and easily
manipulate text and graphics on screen and create stunning,
informative publications is quickly making publishers
of us all.
By the end of this course, you'll be able to use Microsoft Word 2002 to create your own flyers, class handouts, newsletters and many other types of published documents for classroom and personal use.
Step 1 -- Download the deliverable (.doc, .pdf, .rtf) and the example (.doc, .pdf, .rtf) documents. The example illustrates what your document should look like once you're finished.
Step 2 -- Use the outline below, or the course map on the left side of the screen, to locate the learning activity pages that teach the skills you require. You can go through all of the skills sequentially, from top to bottom, if you wish, or simply access the specific skills you need to complete the course. It's up to you.
Step 3 -- When you've finished all of the work outlined in the instructions, contact your course coordinator.
